Common ground

for the common good

Building an ecologically regenerative culture together; a life in right relationship with each other, the Land, and future generations.

Re:Generation Land Commons

recognizes the varied and converging crises in the ecological, social, political, and economic domains, and believes that collective grassroots action is a necessary and potent response to these challenges.

We believe

that ecologically regenerative management of collectively held Land can be the basis for addressing climate change, social inequality, extractive industry, food sovereignty, and many of the other difficulties presented by the 21st century.

Join Us

We are a registered non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together a core group of permaculturists, foragers, rewilders, bio-intensive gardeners, food foresters, herbalists, etc. to pool resources and acquire Land together. We envision an interconnected network of regenerative projects on shared Land that form a self-sustaining and ecologically responsible community.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide secure access to collectively held Land for regenerative management projects, to lay the foundations for permanent sustainable settlement on that Land, to educate and inspire the public about ecological regeneration, and to develop a replicable model and a regulatory pathway that others may follow in the future.

What is Regenerative Agriculture

Regenerative agriculture constitutes human-tended ecological systems that provide food, fibre, fuel and medicine for human use while also maintaining or increasing biomass and biodiversity (both above and below the soil line), particularly of native species.
